Please note: This workshop can be completed using the free versions of ChatGPT, Gemini or Copilot. However, during the session we will be building and using AI Agents (ChatGPT) or Gems (Gemini) to demonstrate how they can automate tasks and provide personalised support.
To take part in this practical activity, you may wish to subscribe to one of the paid plans before the workshop. If a free trial is available, it's a great way to experience these advanced features without committing to a subscription.

Running a charity has never been more challenging. Funding is tighter, demand for services continues to grow, and many organisations are trying to do more with fewer staff and volunteers.
AI won't replace the passion, empathy or expertise that makes your organisation unique.
But it can become the extra pair of hands you've always wished you had.
The AI Mastery pathway has been designed specifically for charities, CICs, community groups and social enterprises that want to use artificial intelligence confidently, ethically and responsibly.
Whether you're completely new to AI or already experimenting with tools like ChatGPT, you'll learn practical ways to reduce administration, improve communications, strengthen funding applications and create more time for the work that really matters.
Through a series of hands-on masterclasses, you'll discover how to:
Every session is practical, interactive and jargon-free. You'll leave with ready-to-use prompts, templates, action plans and resources that you can start using immediately, regardless of your organisation's size or budget.

Examples, activities and case studies are tailored specifically to the third sector, helping you apply AI in ways that strengthen your organisation without compromising your values.

Running a business often means juggling marketing, sales, administration, customer service, planning and finance, all while trying to win new clients and deliver exceptional work.
There never seem to be enough hours in the day.
The good news? You don't have to do it all yourself.
The AI Mastery pathway has been designed specifically for freelancers, small businesses and start-ups that want to work smarter, improve productivity and build sustainable growth using artificial intelligence.
Whether you're completely new to AI or already using tools like ChatGPT, you'll learn practical, real-world ways to reduce repetitive tasks, improve your marketing, strengthen your business strategy and free up more time to focus on what you do best.

Build the confidence to use AI safely, effectively and with purpose.
If you're new to artificial intelligence, AI Foundations is the perfect place to start. This introductory masterclass will help you understand what AI is, how it works and, most importantly, how it can support you in your work and everyday life.
You'll learn the fundamentals of using AI confidently, from writing effective prompts and understanding different AI platforms to recognising their strengths, limitations and ethical considerations. We'll also explore AI safety, data protection, responsible use and how to get the best results without needing any technical expertise.
Designed for complete beginners, this practical and jargon-free session will give you the knowledge and confidence to start using AI immediately. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a solid understanding of the AI landscape and be ready to progress onto the specialist AI Mastery programmes.

Discover the AI tools that can genuinely make a difference to the way you work.
With new AI platforms appearing almost every week, it can be difficult to know which ones are worth your time. The Essential AI Toolkit introduces you to the most useful, trusted and practical AI tools for everyday work.
You'll explore tools for content creation, marketing, research, meetings, presentations, image generation, productivity, video, automation and much more.
Most importantly, you'll learn when to use each tool, which tasks they're best suited to, and how they can work together to save time and improve results.
Whether you're a charity, freelancer, small business or start-up, you'll leave with a carefully curated toolkit that will help you work smarter, boost productivity and confidently integrate AI into your daily workflow.

Create a team of AI assistants to fill the skills gaps in your organisation, not replace the people who make it special.
Many organisations and small businesses know they need help, but simply don't have the budget to recruit a marketing manager, fundraiser, administrator, researcher, content creator or business development officer.
That's where AI can make a real difference.
The Build Your AI Workforce masterclass is all about creating virtual AI assistants that help you tackle the jobs you don't currently have the time, capacity or budget to hire someone to do. Rather than replacing people, you'll learn how AI can support your existing team, reduce repetitive tasks and free up more time for the work that only humans can do.
You'll discover how to create AI assistants that understand your organisation, your goals and the way you like to work. Whether you need help with marketing, funding, administration, planning, research or content creation, you'll learn how to build an AI workforce that works alongside you as a trusted digital colleague.
Designed for charities, social enterprises, freelancers, SMEs and purpose-led organisations, this practical and jargon-free session focuses on real-world challenges.
Wherever possible, we'll use your own organisation, projects and day-to-day tasks, so you'll leave with AI assistants that are ready to support your work immediately.
Whether you're a charity, freelancer, small business or start-up, you'll leave with a practical AI workforce that continues to support you long after the workshop has finished, helping you save time, boost productivity and focus on the work that matters most.

Use AI to create smarter marketing, stronger content and more meaningful connections with your audience.
Marketing has never been more demanding. You're expected to create engaging social media content, write compelling emails, produce videos, update your website, analyse performance and stay visible online—all while running the rest of your organisation or business.
The AI Marketing Mastery masterclass will show you how to use artificial intelligence as your creative marketing assistant, helping you save time without losing your unique voice or authenticity.
You'll discover how AI can support every stage of your marketing, from generating ideas and planning campaigns to writing content, creating images, improving search engine optimisation (SEO) and repurposing content across multiple platforms. More importantly, you'll learn how to combine your creativity with AI to produce marketing that feels genuine, engaging and aligned with your brand.
Designed for charities, freelancers, SMEs and start-ups, this practical and jargon-free session is packed with real-life examples and hands-on activities. We'll use your own organisation, campaigns and marketing challenges wherever possible, so you'll leave with content, ideas and strategies you can start using immediately.

Whether you're applying for grants, responding to tenders, pitching for new clients or developing partnership projects, creating persuasive proposals can be time-consuming and overwhelming.
The AI Funding Mastery masterclass will show you how to use artificial intelligence as your funding and business development assistant, helping you research opportunities, strengthen your proposals and save valuable time without compromising quality or authenticity.
You'll discover how AI can help you identify relevant funding opportunities, interpret funders' guidance, develop stronger project ideas, write compelling grant applications, create realistic budgets and prepare monitoring and evaluation reports.
For freelancers, SMEs and start-ups, we'll also explore how AI can support you to develop winning business proposals, client pitches, tender responses and service bids that clearly communicate your value and increase your chances of success.
We'll also look at one of the biggest opportunities for organisations of all sizes: partnership working. You'll learn how AI can help identify potential collaboration opportunities between businesses and third sector organisations, develop partnership proposals, align shared objectives and create stronger applications by demonstrating collective impact and expertise.
Designed for charities, CICs, social enterprises, freelancers, SMEs and purpose-led businesses, this practical session is packed with real-world examples and hands-on activities. Wherever possible, we'll use participants' own funding opportunities, tenders, projects and business proposals, so you'll leave having made meaningful progress towards your next application or pitch.

Learn how to use AI as your personal health research and wellbeing assistant.
Navigating health information can be overwhelming. The AI in Health & Wellbeing masterclass will show you how to use AI responsibly to better understand symptoms, organise medical information, prepare for appointments and make sense of complex health advice.
You'll discover how AI can help you ask better questions, track symptoms, summarise medical letters, create personalised wellbeing plans and find trusted, evidence-based information, while understanding its limitations and why it should never replace professional medical advice.
Whether you're managing your own health, supporting a loved one or simply looking for reliable ways to stay informed, this practical and empowering session will give you the confidence to use AI as a valuable tool in your health and wellbeing journey.
Please note: This workshop is designed to help you become a more informed and confident partner in your healthcare. It does not provide medical advice, diagnose conditions or replace consultations with qualified healthcare professionals.
I never thought that I would ever find AI so exciting! 😄.
You have, quite possibly, just made my life so much easier, when it comes to reporting! For that, I will be eternally grateful to you 😄.
Honestly, I have learned so much today. I was quite AI nervous, but I am definitely a convert now! This will save me so much time and effort going forward, allowing me to focus less on admin, and more on hands-on delivery and innovation.
I came to the course having never used AI and feeling nervous. It was put across in a way I understand. I was supported when needed, never made to feel thick about it.
Linzi was great in the info given and the way she presented it.
It was fantastic, thank you.
The content was specific to what our sector may need. It wasn't generic off the shelf, it was thought through and relevant.
Warm, understanding, knowledgeable and with a sense of humour. Linzi had the ability to gauge what people needed and to move things on when needed. The session had a very human feel and it was clear that Linzi has a great passion for our sector and how her skill and experience can enhance and support our work.
It was a fabulous interactive session. With the ability to 'have a go' throughout and relate the different AI models to you area of work. Some of the initial more basic tools could immediately be used and understood how the use would aid in daily work life. The foundation of information provided regarding the more complex uses if opening up exciting and time saving possibilities that I am eager to explore.
Opened my eyes to the benefits and challenges of a new digital world beyond my understanding.
An amazing session delivered in such an engaging, encouraging style. You were so patient with a very mixed ability audience.
Linzi was knowledgeable, friendly, understood the challenges that small charities face and ensured that we all practised what she was teaching us at the session, which really made a difference.
The pace was great and the atmosphere relaxed and collaborative.
