Haf Jones, Director
Haf and her husband Brett contacted us to ask for support with their upcoming wedding showcase event. The brief was to raise awareness of the event through social media.
The Step-Up Hub happily created a number of posts for Meta, including sponsored posts, which increased traffic to the bookings site, as well as Peak Marquee Hire's own website. On the day of the showcase, we filmed two promotional videos, which were great fun to shoot, and received many compliments.
Haf said "It was great to work with you on this project. Professional, supportive and knowledgeable. Thank you for your encouragement and support."
We look forward to working with Brett and Haf again on another project soon.

I can't speak highly enough of Linzi, I feel like contacting her has been one of the best decisions I have made for my business. I was impressed by how knowledgeable she is, and also how invested she is in each piece of work she does.
Linzi is diligent, approachable, focused and committed to supporting you as a client. I left feeling like I had an action plan for levelling up and inspired to get going.
Looking forward to the next meeting!

The Prestaytyn & Meliden Foodbank received SPF funding to buy a van, which enabled them to increase the number of deliveries to vulnerable people locally. Filming their case study highlighted the warmth and dedication of the church & foodbank teams, as well as the profound impact their work has had on the local community.
Sandra Pierce
Sandra came to us for support with marketing her beauty business. Sandra has a lot of experience within the industry, which allows her to offer a wide range of services within her business. Our brief was to create a full marketing strategy, packed with manageable goals, which Sandra could employ over time.
Sandra also recieved a couple of hours of Business Buddy time, which helped to drill down on her goals and aspirations for the future of her business.
Sandra said "Being able to discuss openly with Linzi, and listening to her recommendations / ideas, gave a few “oh my” moments. It’s good to get a birds eye view of your business, and help when overthinking, which is what Linzi was good at!"
Emily, Graham, Peanut, Poppet,
Macia & Mimi Wraight
Linzi met with Emily and her former business partner to discuss the content and creation of children's books, which could be used for marketing purposes for their pug boarding business.
Emily said
"I first met Linzi when she brought her dear little Peggy Pug dog to stay with us here at our little pug boarding business. We instantly hit it off with our mutual love of pugs and I quickly found Linzi friendly and very approachable.
We chatted and I mentioned various ideas we had for our business. We had so many ideas but were struggling to know what to do first, or even how to approach each. Linzi had a well-explained, straight forward approach to the “which & why”. After each meeting, I had so much more direction, backed up with experienced knowledge from Linzi.
I would absolutely recommend Linzi to anyone with business ideas, looking for clarity and help to piece them all together!"
Leila Jones
Leila is the owner of Serenity Office Services, a virtual assistant business based in Mold, North Wales. We supported her with a digital marketing strategy, and business buddy sessions.
Leila says
"I liked the clear and well-thought-out strategy which was provided for me. I initially met Linzi just for coffee and a chat after meeting at a networking event. Then decided to have a business marketing strategy and was impressed how comprehensive it was after a short meeting.
Linzi and Ali also reviewed my website and socials and gave me tips on how to improve these.
Linzi and Ali have a lovely manner. Conversation flowed easily and I was so comfortable in their company."
Steve Jones
Linzi at The Step-Up Hub was instrumental in changing the way I delivered my training sessions to NHS Staff during the pandemic. She taught me how to use TEAMS to reach a wider audience and also how to use other platforms such as ZOOM. I can now deliver all my training sessions online and reach NHS Staff across the whole of North Wales.
It has saved the NHS a significant costs due to the fact that staff no longer need to travel to training events, they can complete all training from the comfort of their own homes or offices.
The training I received from The Step-Up Hub was delivered in a friendly, professional manner and was easy to understand. Nothing was too much trouble for Linzi and I really enjoyed and benefited from the excellent service provided. Thank you Linzi.
Debra Drake
The Great British Sewing Bee Finalist 2022
Linzi and Ali have worked with Debra a number of times, offering business buddy sessions, filmed content for social media videos, photography and a comprehensive marketing strategy.
Debra says
" I met Linzi when she attended one of my dressmaking classes. Dressmaking is a great leveller where you have no idea what anyone does for a living - everyone is the same when you’re trying to insert a difficult zip! Over time, Linzi kept giving me some excellent tips which led me to ask about what her profession was. I was thrilled (but not surprised) to find she was a professional business buddy, content creator and copywriter.
My new business was in flux as I was struggling with prioritising needs, pinpointing strengths and weaknesses and harnessing the behemoth of Social Media. Linzi developed a comprehensive report on Sewing with Style which gave me a roadmap to follow.
Linzi’s approach is warm, fun and incredibly generous. She has an innate understanding of what the business and customer needs, and gives clear, concise instruction on how to achieve your goals."
